CUSP Cusp

Kitchen Appliances So Smart They Understand YOU.

As Founder + CEO of digital appliance company, CUSP, I want to give you a sneak peek at what we’re doing behind the scenes…

We’re creating the world’s first digital kitchen appliance company.

Our first smart appliance, evie, uses interactive technology to help users save time, plan their meals, to get creative in the kitchen again and to eat healthier.

I like to think that evie is the kitchen appliance Steve Jobs would have brought to the world had he lived.

Food has always been a huge part of my life growing up, but I disassociated from food preparation as an ambitious entrepreneurial woman because I connected food preparation with being a chore, no fun, and being chained to the kitchen sink!

Our hands-free appliances operate with smart-recipes that make the cooking experience fast, simple & fun.

I recognised the opportunity in a world full of dumb single-function kitchen appliances that clutter our kitchens. We’re saddled with appliances designed for the industrial age and whilst technology has evolved in every area of our lives, our kitchens remain stuck in a time warp.

My purpose is to make cooking and meal planning fun again and to empower people to be more creative and productive in the kitchen.

I believe it’s time we leveraged the technology that’s been used to change every other aspect of our daily lives to make kitchen appliances more than simply functional.

This technology has to be relevant to the people who use it not simply an innovation for the sake of it (smart-toothbrushes just don’t cut it!).

Ultimately we want to leave our customers feeling more empowered and creative in the kitchen.

My vision is a community of users using our platform to create and share their own recipes. In time, our platform will also drive the future CUSP appliances.

Michelle, Wow! This does sound like a revolution, I am excited. If this drives young men and women to create and enjoy healthy food, what a saving that will be on the economy long term. So many don’t even understand simple food technology, like whole food, green food, Protein, carbs, minerals vitamins, and why the are essential to life. Looking forward to following this journey!
